Eventual wear and tear on our cars is something that will undoubtedly happen at some point, whether it is on the body of the car or something mechanical, a mishap of some kind is bound to happen.
The rear bumper of our cars is something that takes a good amount of damage, from general scrapes to major dents when we may not happen to see that car behind us as we park.
With that being said, something that should be kept in mind is the idea of purchasing a rear bumper guard for your car, and to help you out with choosing the right one, we here at ReviewCart are going to review the top car bumper guards so far in 2021.

20 Rear Protection Bumper Guards 2021
The Luv-Tap BG001 is one of the more expensive rear bumper guards currently on the market (costing about $100.00 on Amazon) and will protect your entire bumper (meaning the corners and sides) from most low-speed impacts (i.e. parallel parking) therefore preventing and reducing the chance of scratches.
It attaches securely with either bungee cords, or suction cups (that come included with the bumper guard) and is perfectly safe to have attached to your vehicle while driving.
The Luv-Tap can also be customized effectively, and easily, based on your current vehicle and for any future vehicles that you may own, which is a plus.
The BumpTek installs with most quality 3M adhesive tape and also includes a 3M surface cleaner for surface prep. The BumpTek effectively protects both the rear of your bumper from scrapes and scratches of minor accidents and mishaps. This bumper guard is made of high quality, and durable, material that is flexible and adapts to the contour of your car; the dimensions of the BumpTek are 53 X 2.75 X ½.
The Gold Edition of the Bumper Bully Extreme is a super-wide bumper guard that offers a protected area that measures approximately 46″ x 12″, one of the largest bumper guards on the market currently and will not break the bank, costing about $45.00 on Amazon. There are also, high-intensity, safety reflectors on the guard that makes the Bumper Bully stand out to any cars that may park behind you, therefore helping to ensure that your car is noticeable in an emergency situation; additional features also include steel-reinforced security straps (this helps deter theft) and is incredibly heavy duty.
This particular bumper guard is the Platinum Edition of the same Bumper Bully that we discussed in the review above, and is incredibly similar, with the differences being in price (this guard is ten bucks more than its counterpart, costing $55.00 on Amazon) and it also includes impact pads, which add an additional 10mm of impact-absorbing protection, which adds another level of assurance for the buyer. Features of the Platinum Bumper Bully is the same as the Gold edition, including a protected area that measures approximately 46″ x 12″ (plus the impact pads) and having reinforced steel straps.
The BumperGuard (which comes in either charcoal or black) is a sturdy and heavy-duty bumper guard that does not sag or bend on the ends and is pretty easy to install. The guard is about two inches thick and made from high-grade engineering foam and has a 4 MPH impact-rating from several U.S. testing labs. Features of the BumperGuard also include easy installation (locking on in seconds) and also cover any existing damage.
At the end of the day, if you are looking to purchase a bumper guard, it is best to do your research as thoroughly as possible.
You may also want to look to make sure if the bumper guard that you are thinking of buying actually will fit your make and model. (Some manufacture list what cars are compatible with their guards, so if you are able to find this, that is a huge plus).
Potential buyers will also want to keep the elements in mind; for example, if you live in the great state of New York, with its harsh winters, you may want to consider purchasing a bumper guard that is made from a more resilient material and not something that is more on the flimsy side.
